Synopsis

The fate of the supernatural world lies in the hands of the Trinity. Now that their powers have awakened, they’re one step closer to putting an end to the Darkness surrounding them. Or so they thought…

The death of Wren’s father brings an unsolicited visit from the Alpha Master of the Thornwood
werewolf pack, and with it some troublesome news. Wren is faced with a decision that could mean
the end of his life if he doesn’t choose wisely.

A mysterious book hidden in a secret room just might have the answers the Trinity is searching for. Perhaps with a little help from the past, a winged guardian, and new friends–the Trinity can persevere and rise against the Darkness.

Chloe’s Bookish Thoughts

Welcome to Silver Mountain, a supernatural hot spot threatened by an ancient, evil power brewing.
The story centres around Quinn; a young witch with a powerful gift heightened with the White Witch’s powers, and Wren; a young werewolf who has to choose between his kind’s natural order and a destiny to stop the rise of evil.

I enjoyed this Young Adult Fantasy novel, it was a refreshing twist on the chosen one prophecy. Plus who doesn’t love a story about some hot blooded weres. I got sucked into the hunt for the Enchantress, I wanted to be part of the Trinity – though it would probably make it a quad. I would definitely visit this small town again. The characters are fun, powerful and at times fiery. The writing style is easy to read and get on with. It’s a race to stop evil that you will struggle to put
down.

Elena’s Bookish Thoughts

Werewolves, chosen one trope, end of the world is nigh? What more could you ask for really?

As this was the second book in the series I was a little lost at first (having not read the first) but quickly found myself falling into the world and it’s characters.

Ya fantasy is a favourite genre of mine as I then get to reccomend books to my students and discuss them with them. This one is one I know a few students in particular will enjoy. The writing was so good it was very easy to fall into the world of the Trinity and join them on their quest.

4/5⭐️
